The Frigate Trincomalee

The 46 gun frigate Trincomalee (1817) was under restoration at Hartlepool between 1990 and 2001. As part of this project Peter provided specialist advice to support the return of the vessel to her 1817 appearance.

Victory's Fore Top Sail

Victory's fore top sail is the only remaining sail from the Battle of Trafalgar and the largest historic textile in the world. Stored on the ship for many years, Peter led the project to conserve, research and display the sail.
